Kevin & Chelsea’s Carport Conversion
I'm thrilled to share the journey we embarked on with our clients, Kevin and Chelsea. Our collaboration began when they purchased their beautiful home through us as real estate agents in 2020, and since then, we've been committed to realizing their vision for their dream space as designers. Despite facing stiff competition with multiples of other offers, we managed to secure the stunning property they now call home.
The conversion of the existing carport on their property into a beautiful yoga studio and office space was a goal they had in mind since they moved in four years ago. From the outset, we understood the significance of this project to our clients, both personally and professionally. This space would be an integral component to their success as influencers. As their trusted friends and designers,we were deeply invested in ensuring that every aspect of the transformation exceeded their expectations. We started by collaborating on conceptual designs and digital drawings, working closely to capture their unique style and practical needs.
With our vast network of subcontractors we pulled together a talented team of professionals to work along side us on this project ensuring that each element of the studio was of the highest quality. Our role extended beyond mere project management; we provided support and guidance, from design engineering, through the permitting process to hanging the very last fixture, ensuring that Kevin and Chelsea felt confident and reassured every step of the way.
The resulting space is truly breathtaking. The open layout, accentuated by the glass partition wall and stunning truss, creates a sense of expansiveness and serenity. Natural light floods the studio through the large windows, creating an inviting atmosphere that is perfect for both work and relaxation. The built-in cabinetry along the back wall not only adds to the aesthetic appeal but also provides essential storage for their yoga equipment and office supplies. The project is set to be finished March 2024. More photos to come!
