Aarti & Eswar’s Modern Masterpiece
As an interior designer, working with Aarti and Eswar on the transformation of their Kirkland home was a truly rewarding experience. Having lived in their 2,800 square foot residence in the Highlands community for a decade, they had poured their love and energy into raising their family within its walls. However, as time passed, the home was in need of some much-needed attention and care.
Upon deciding to sell their beloved home after purchasing a new one, Aarti and Eswar recognized the importance of addressing both immediate needs and potential areas for investment. While some aspects of the home required urgent attention – such as the water-damaged kitchen floors and dated cabinetry – there were other areas where strategic improvements could yield significant returns.
The comprehensive renovation began with the replacement of the damaged floors throughout the home with engineered wide plank hardwoods, instantly elevating the overall aesthetic and functionality of the space. The kitchen, which served as the heart of the home, underwent a dramatic transformation with new cabinetry, countertops, and appliances. Designer tile was incorporated into the bathrooms, laundry room, and kitchen backsplash, infusing each space with a touch of luxury and sophistication.

One of the standout features of the redesign was the entryway, where the addition of a sleek metal railing and shiplap-covered 20-foot wall imparted a contemporary edge to the home's facade.
