Sung & Stephanie’s Investment Condo
Sung & Stephanie’s investment condo was in a prime location. Located in downtown Bellevue, this condo is within walking distance of shops, restaurants, parks, and it’s proximity to Redmond as well as Seattle makes Bellevue very desireable for tech employees who work for companies like Amazon and Microsoft. With Bellevue’s high desirability, comes higher rental prices as well as high expectations from potential buyers. That’s why, when we received a call from our clients, Sung and Stephanie, wanting to sell, we knew we would be tasked with making this condo as luxe as possible. Their condo was purchased back in 2015 but had not been renovated since the owners previous to them. When we walked inside, we immediately noticed the kitchen would need some fresh painted cabinets, a new countertop and new appliances to bring it up to date. Two floating shelves and raising the existing cabinets, opened up the space and made this galley style kitchen feel much bigger.

The whole place was carpeted, so we decided new engineered floors would really give the space a new look and feel. The bathrooms needed a complete renovation and we decided on modern floating vanities with a marble floor to make this Bellevue condo really feel elevated. The old fireplace stood out like a sore-thumb. So, we made it a focal point by adding show-stopping herringbone tile.
Ultimately two physicians who moved to the area from Los Angeles who were strug- gling to find a luxe condo, snagged up our little gem. Sung and Stephanie made north of 800k on the sale of their condo, the highest in the building thus far. When they saw the condo again, after the renovation, they could not believe it was the same condo they had handed us the keys to just months before.
